What better way to give service to the world than to give back your knowledge about that which is your passion?  I am a people person; I like my students and I love making music on the clarinet!

The clarinet has a beautiful tone, and I focus on proper breathing and consistent support to achieve each individual's sound.   To achieve effortless technique and fast fingers, students need to be taught how to practice effectively.  I give constant feedback, helpful criticism and lots of positive reinforcement.

   

I want my students to learn that there is no mystery in how we do what we do as musicians.  It takes practice, patience, thoughtfulness and persistence. It is a life-long journey and one that is hopefully soul satisfying, intellectually stimulating and fun.
